Michael Gunder of Mars

Michael Hutchence was not only a phenomenal rock performer, he was also a tremendous style innovator (I still remember his flashy appearance at the Grammy's with his ponytail tied with long-stemmed roses).  Indeed, Hutchence is the reason why INXS catapulted up the 80's charts and the movie Dogs in Space sits on my DVD shelf.

So when I saw Michael (yes, I know, coincidence?) walk by on Queen Street West, baring a strong resemblance to the artist and his style from the early years, well, I just had to ask.

"I am inspired by art design and cinema, and I always follow the principle less is more."

Michael is an illustrator and you can see his art concepts on his blog The Last Ticket to Mars.
