Unbeknownst to me, I had previously shot Jennifer's street style in Kensington Market, which is further proof that this city is smaller than I think.

In Praise of Vintage Couture: Ola in "Miss Renfrew"

Ola is wearing a "Miss Renfrew" dress (vintage Holts at it best).  The taffeta dress has a sailor collar with box pleat detail that is continued on the puff sleeve.

Chanelle is wearing a Christian Dior Haute Couture piece [serial number on label] from autumn 1974. This one piece light camel colored wool dress has 3/4 length sleeves and pleated front skirt detail. In Praise of Vintage Couture: Chanelle & Jacquelyn -- Orange Appeal

Chanelle (left) is wearing a vibrant orange silk caftan by Liberty of London.  This 1970's piece has a band collar, self-belt and drop shoulders. The gold frog closeurs and piping details are on the side seams, sleeves and slits.

Jacquelyn (right) is wearing a Tangerine silk opera coat with pockets circa 1960's [Private label]. Coat has yoke back with pleating detail and slight train. The raglan sleeves are dramatically reduced at the wrist giving contrast to the soft isometrical collar. The coat is lined in lemon yellow silk moire.  The patch work skirt in psychedelic hues and patterns of the 70's has gathered waist and self belt. The skirt is lined in off white silk moire.

It's hard not to think about the 80's slacker hit Say Anything when seeing Ola in this vintage coat created by Anne Klein. The camel-coloured wool swing has a trench coat styling with padded shoulders and raglan sleeves.
