Nika: 'Underground Fashion'

"I'm not a trend follower.  I work in Kensington so it inspires my fashion a lot.  Kensington is fashion forward without being fashion forward.  It's very much underground fashion."

Megan works at the Parkdale location of Common Sort.  "The store's fashion is beautiful, hand-picked, modern with a vintage twist."

Kelly Grace: One of a Kind

Yesterday, Dorothy and I checked out the One of a Kind show at the Exhibition Place, where consumers flocked to purchase the latest in fashion, art, food, treats, jewellery and more.  Incidentally, Dorothy couldn't resist buying me a cool leather bomber winter hat as an early birthday present.  Now I'm ready to face Toronto's harshest winter days.

When we passed by booth K5, we instantly fell in love with Kelly Grace's beautiful artwork -- not to mention -- her lovely rockabilly style.

She describes her art as "mixed media -- it's image transfer of my own drawings, which I paint over in acrylics."  Her fashion is equally compelling.  "My clothing style is based on retro stuff, inspired by Norman Rockwell."

You may peruse Kelly's artwork by visiting Kellective.com, and if you're interested in seeing the One of a Kind show, you better hurry -- today is the last day.
