Charlotte: I collect pieces that I really like and when I get dressed I just throw things at my body to see what happens. I don't follow fashion trends. I like unique pieces. My style is a hodgepodge of many things.

TorontoVerve: What's the best advice you've received in life?

Charlotte: Remember when blazers was the thing to wear with everything? Like with jeans? Everybody was doing it, but I was actively avoiding it. Then one day, I found this great blazer, but I wasn't going to buy it because I was avoiding blazers. My friend's advice was, "Not doing it because everyone is doing it is just as bad as doing it because everyone is doing it. So just do what you want to do and don't even think about what everyone else is doing."
