It was a star-studded event at the Passion Play World Premiere at the Ryerson Theatre last night. The movie stars Megan Fox as a circus attraction with bird wings who meets a down and out jazz musician played by Mickey Rourke. Bill Murray co-stars as the level-headed mobster who makes their lives miserable in a film best described as a fairy-tale romance. I cannot recommend Passion Play. It's slow and predictable, but Murray and Rourke's screen presence make it bearable. Fox delivers an uninspiring performance, which will likely not give her the acting credence that she's hoping for.
Passion Play will be released sometime in 2011.
