Laisha on Yonge Street

Lately I noticed few people wearing bright colours in the streets, but then I saw Laisha. She was walking towards me wearing a bright orange leather jacket accentuated with an extremely long red-checkered scarf. Her unique ensemble was the most dramatic I've seen so far this winter.

Jason Walking Kaya

I like what Jason's wearing -- practical and stylish. It's as if he walked straight out of a page of a men's outdoor fashion magazine.

Wilson in Leslieville

We drove by Wilson as he was taking a smoke break on Queen Street East. His cool demeanor and fashion sense compelled us to make a u-turn and ask for these photos. Wilson owns both "Me Studio" and "Studio We" on Queen and he wasted no time getting back to work after our impromptu photoshoot.

Vanessa on Queen...

Vanessa's classic look with her short styled hair and vintage coat lit up Queen Street West. We caught up with her where Preloved, Duke's Cycle and Suspect Video used to stand (ashes to ashes...).

Foxy in Distill

While in the Distillery, we stopped in Distill where we complimented Joey on his fun fur fox stole made by local designer Benny and Olive.

We couldn't help but notice Sherry's killer boots with metallic heels in St. Lawrence Market.

Jah Lex and Vivian Visiting from Montreal

Jah Lex's reggae band "Raw Sugga" is expecting their debut CD to be released in the new year. He and Vivian (who occasionally sings with the band) were checking out the Kensington Market shops before returning home.

Celeste Keeping Warm in Moonbean Café

Celeste came in from the cold to get a latte in Kensington Market. She looked fantastic in her stylish nylons and Zara boots. She was also very patient waiting for me to unfog my camera lens before taking this shot.

Jermaine Walking on Yonge...

Despite the traffic, we pulled over on Yonge to capture these photos of Jermaine who looked sleek in shades and leather.

Christina and Dougal Chilling in Kensington Market

The cold weather didn't stop Christina and Dougal from having a deep conversation on a street bench in Kensington Market. We hated to intrude with our request for these cool photos, but they were forgiving.

Ben and Tara in Yorkville

Tara told us that her ear muffs were made with recycled fur.

Who knew that going green would look so good.

Jeff on Queen Street

Jeff was taking advantage of the milder weather by checking out the shops in his hood. His hat certainly adds the finishing touch to his smart look. It also reminds me that a tuque and bike helmet shouldn't be the only head wear I own.

These Boots Were Made for Walking

Danielle stopped traffic when she worked these black leather boots in Yorkville.

Jill at Queen and Spadina

Jill's flaming orange hair isn't the only thing that commands attention. Her vintage blue coat accentuated by her Holt Renfrew scarf are equally beguiling.

"Once a Maritimer, Always a Martimer"

Originally from Nova Scotia, Pamela looks sophisticated with her classy Burberry overcoat and long black scarf on Bloor. After she graciously posed for my fashion blog, she told us that we made her day, but it's quite the contrary - she made ours.

Shopping in style

This chic couple was shopping in style at one of Queen Street West's trendy shoe stores.
